Who Is Keen Ruffalo?
Keen Ruffalo is an American actor and the eldest child of Mark Ruffalo and Sunrise Coigney. His father is one of Hollywood’s best-known performers, recognized for films including Spotlight, The Kids Are All Right, Poor Things, and Marvel’s Avengers films.
Keen’s connection to acting started when he was young, but he didn’t immediately decide to follow his father’s career. His earliest screen appearances were small parts in projects involving Mark Ruffalo. Those appearances included Begin Again in 2013 and a brief role in Thor: Ragnarok in 2017.
His professional direction changed years later. After spending time studying fashion design, Keen eventually decided to give acting a serious chance. That decision has led to increasingly substantial roles, including Connor Jacobson in Sterling Point.
How Old Is Keen Ruffalo?
Keen Ruffalo was born on June 19, 2001, in the United States. As of September 2026, he is 25 years old. His birth date is listed by IMDb and has also been reported by several entertainment publications covering his recent career.
Keen is a Gemini, since his birthday falls on June 19.
His age is particularly relevant to his current career because Sterling Point represents a transition from the small appearances he made as a child into more serious work as a young adult actor.
When and Where Was Keen Ruffalo Born?
Keen Ruffalo was born on June 19, 2001, in the United States. Public sources generally identify the United States as his birthplace but don’t provide a consistently verified city of birth.
Unlike some celebrity children who grow up constantly surrounded by Hollywood publicity, Keen had a relatively private childhood. His parents kept much of their family life away from the entertainment press, and Keen and his sisters spent their childhood largely away from the center of Hollywood.
Recent reporting has described the Ruffalo children as having been raised in New York, including time in upstate New York.

Who Are Keen Ruffalo’s Parents?
Keen is the son of Mark Ruffalo and Sunrise Coigney.
Mark Ruffalo is an award-winning American actor known for both dramatic performances and his long-running role as Bruce Banner, also known as the Hulk, in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. He has received multiple Academy Award nominations and won a Primetime Emmy for I Know This Much Is True.
Sunrise Coigney is an actress who has appeared in projects including In the Cut, Campfire Stories, and 100 Centre Street. She married Mark Ruffalo in June 2000.
Keen was born about a year after his parents’ marriage.
Does Keen Ruffalo Have Siblings?
Yes. Keen has two younger sisters, Bella Noche Ruffalo and Odette Ruffalo. He is the oldest of the three Ruffalo children.
Bella was born in 2005, while Odette was born in 2007. The siblings have occasionally appeared together with their parents at public events.
Keen, Bella, and their parents attended the February 2024 ceremony celebrating Mark Ruffalo’s star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. Mark described the honor as something that belonged to his family as well, reflecting the support he received from them throughout his career.
Where Did Keen Ruffalo Grow Up?
Keen and his sisters were raised with a strong connection to New York rather than being constantly immersed in Hollywood. Reports have described their upbringing as relatively private and removed from the typical celebrity spotlight.
Keen has also explained that he was raised on a farm and kept fairly far away from the entertainment business despite his father’s fame. That background helps explain why his path into acting wasn’t as straightforward as people might expect from the son of a major movie star.
His early life appears to have given him space to explore interests outside acting before eventually deciding what he wanted to do professionally.
What Did Keen Ruffalo Study?
Before seriously pursuing acting, Keen Ruffalo studied fashion design. IMDb lists fashion design as an early educational interest, while recent interviews have provided more context about why he eventually changed direction.
According to reporting from Entertainment Weekly, Keen attended college and eventually left during the COVID-19 pandemic. During that period, he reassessed what he wanted to do with his life and began considering acting more seriously.
Fashion has nevertheless remained part of his public image. His appearances at fashion events, including a Dior cruise show in Los Angeles in 2026, have attracted attention online.
When Did Keen Ruffalo Start Acting?
Keen’s first credited connection to the screen came when he was still a child.
Begin Again
In 2013, Keen appeared in his father’s film Begin Again, which starred Mark Ruffalo and Keira Knightley. Keen was around 12 years old at the time and appeared as an extra.
The experience gave him an early look at filmmaking, but it didn’t immediately convince him that acting was his future.
Thor: Ragnarok
Keen later made a small appearance in Marvel’s Thor: Ragnarok, released in 2017. His role was uncredited and was described as a Sakaaran citizen.
His appearance connected him with one of the biggest film franchises in the world, but he still wasn’t pursuing acting as a full-time career at that point.
Why Did Keen Ruffalo Become an Actor?
Keen’s decision to pursue acting seriously came much later than his childhood appearances might suggest.
During college and the COVID-19 pandemic, he went through a period of uncertainty about his future. He had been studying fashion design, but eventually reconsidered his direction. In an interview reported by Entertainment Weekly, Keen explained that watching his father find happiness through acting influenced his decision to give the profession a real try.
His father was supportive but also cautious. Rather than simply encouraging Keen because he was his son, Mark reportedly questioned whether Keen truly wanted the demanding life that comes with acting.
That distinction matters. Keen’s story isn’t simply about a famous actor’s child automatically entering Hollywood. His career has developed gradually, with smaller appearances preceding his current work.

What Is Keen Ruffalo’s Role in Sterling Point?
Keen Ruffalo plays Connor Jacobson in Prime Video’s Sterling Point.
The series premiered on August 5, 2026, and follows Annie Jacobson, played by Ella Rubin. Annie and her twin brother Connor unexpectedly inherit an island in Canada’s Muskoka region from a grandfather they never knew. The inheritance pulls Annie into a complicated story involving family secrets, relationships, and people connected to the island.
Connor is an important part of the show’s central family story. Keen’s performance has also given viewers their first extended opportunity to see him carrying a substantial television role rather than appearing briefly alongside his father.
Prime Video lists Keen among the show’s cast, alongside Ella Rubin, Amélie Hoeferle, Jacob Whiteduck-Lavoie, Daniel Quinn-Toye, Bo Bragason, Jeffrey Dean Morgan, and others.
When Did Sterling Point Premiere?
Sterling Point premiered on August 5, 2026, on Prime Video. The first season contains eight episodes.
The series quickly became one of Prime Video’s notable new releases. Amazon later confirmed that Sterling Point had been renewed for a second season after its successful first season.
A release date for season two has not been announced in the available official information.
Is Keen Ruffalo in Nimrods?
Yes. Keen Ruffalo is part of the cast of Nimrods, a 2026 film connected to the music and world of Green Day.
Recent reports identify Keen alongside performers including Mckenna Grace, Mason Thames, and Jenna Fischer. The film represents another step in his move toward larger professional acting opportunities.
The project is particularly notable because Keen’s recent career has begun moving beyond appearances connected directly to his father.
What Is Keen Ruffalo’s Height?
Keen Ruffalo’s official height has not been reliably confirmed by a primary or authoritative source.
Some celebrity websites list him at around 5 feet 11 inches, or 180 cm. However, those figures are not supported by an official biography, agency profile, or similarly authoritative source.
For that reason, 5 feet 11 inches should be treated as an unverified online estimate, not a confirmed measurement.
What Is Keen Ruffalo’s Weight?
Keen Ruffalo’s exact weight is also not publicly verified by a reliable primary source.
Some online celebrity profiles claim that he weighs about 150 pounds, or 68 kilograms, but those numbers appear to be estimates rather than measurements confirmed by Keen or his representatives.
Because body weight can naturally change over time, an unverified number shouldn’t be presented as a permanent fact.
What Is Keen Ruffalo’s Ethnicity?
Keen comes from the Ruffalo family on his father’s side and the Coigney family on his mother’s side. His father, Mark Ruffalo, has publicly discussed his Italian family background.
However, detailed information about Keen’s personal ethnic identity has not been extensively documented through authoritative sources. Online profiles sometimes provide broader ethnicity labels, but those claims should be treated carefully unless supported by direct family statements or reliable biographies.
Is Keen Ruffalo Married?
There is no reliable public information confirming that Keen Ruffalo is married as of September 2026.
Keen has become more visible because of Sterling Point, but he has generally kept his personal life separate from his professional work. Entertainment coverage focuses primarily on his acting career and his family background.
Claims about a spouse or marriage should therefore not be treated as fact without a credible source.
Does Keen Ruffalo Have a Girlfriend?
Keen Ruffalo’s current relationship status has not been reliably confirmed through authoritative public reporting.
There has been increased fan interest in his personal life following Sterling Point, especially because the show has introduced him to a much larger audience. However, speculation on social media isn’t enough to establish a real-world relationship.
Until Keen publicly confirms a relationship, it is more accurate to describe his dating life as private.
Is Keen Ruffalo Related to Mark Ruffalo?
Yes. Keen Ruffalo is Mark Ruffalo’s oldest child and son. Mark and Sunrise Coigney have three children together: Keen, Bella Noche, and Odette.
Their family connection has naturally attracted attention as Keen begins building his own acting career. Keen has worked on projects with his father in the past, but his recent roles are increasingly establishing him as an actor in his own right.
Is Keen Ruffalo a Nepo Baby?
Keen’s family background makes the “nepo baby” label an obvious topic, but his career story is more complicated than the label suggests.
He certainly has access to an unusual family connection. His father is a major Hollywood actor, and Keen received early opportunities to appear in films connected to Mark.
At the same time, Keen didn’t immediately pursue acting. He studied fashion design, stepped away from college during the pandemic, and only later decided to make acting a serious career. His recent roles, especially Sterling Point, are giving him opportunities to demonstrate his own abilities.
Whether audiences consider his background an advantage or simply part of his story, his work will ultimately be judged by what he does on screen.
Does Keen Ruffalo Have Social Media?
Keen Ruffalo has maintained a public Instagram account under the handle @keendogood, which has been referenced in entertainment coverage.
His social media presence has become more relevant as his acting career has grown. He has also appeared in fashion-related posts and public events, including his 2026 appearance at the Dior cruise show in Los Angeles.
As with any celebrity social account, readers should verify that an account is authentic before relying on it for personal information.
What Is Keen Ruffalo’s Net Worth?
Keen Ruffalo’s exact net worth is not publicly known.
Some celebrity websites may publish dollar estimates, but there is no reliable financial disclosure that establishes a verified figure for Keen’s personal wealth. Since he is still in the early stages of his professional acting career, estimates can also be especially unreliable.
His potential income sources include acting work, television projects, film roles, and possible fashion or entertainment-related opportunities. However, specific salary figures for his projects have not been publicly confirmed.
It is therefore more responsible to say that Keen Ruffalo’s net worth has not been reliably established rather than attach an unsupported number to his name.
